DIEHARDX GOES SOUTH KOREA DAY 6 OF 8 PART 1/2
This is probably the first and only time we had breakfast in the hotel. Finally, no rice!!!
This place was also a filming location for Winter Sonata.
I find this house model very interesting as it is made entirely of wine corks.
The duty manyzer on duty.
I like how the staggered ceiling design is done.
We were off for the cable car ride to the top of the hill after our breakfast.
They have a range of colours for you to choose.
The ride was around 20 minutes.
This is one of the accommodation choices available at the resort.
The scenery was definitely beautiful.
As we went higher, we could feel that it was getting colder.
As you can see, this shows that we are 1400m above sea level.
We finally reached the Dragon Peak.
We were all thrilled to make snow balls.
Again, another filming location for Winter Sonata.
We headed to the park in front of the station.
The temperature was around -5 degree Celsius.
As we exited the park, the sun started to come out.
We could see ice melting away around us.
We had our skiing goggles on and they could give us a very clear wide vision under the sunlight.
It was time to go back.
We could see people skiing down from the top of the hill.
Finally, reached the bottom of the resort and we were prepared to leave the place.
