NUS MUNCHIE MONKEY CAFE







it's dat time of e nite when football gathering is ON! yes dude, last nite we had a splendid time watching 14 goals galore displayed by e 2 matches we cheered 2gether. i went there from my room, which is just a 5 mins walk! e cafe, munchie monkey is a new cafe which is e 1st 2 b given e permission 2 serve alcohol in campus. it is actually run by e student body, nussu so e waiters & waitresses r all uni students.





i went there with siew ing, who is my form 6 classmate from smk methodist, sibu. his bro came along & we went in 2 watch 2 matches....tottenham vs. arsenal & fulham vs. chelsea. e place was oredi packed when we arrived 30 mins b4 e matches began. dammit! we ended up sitting at e corner sofa & having 2 watch e projector screen at a 45 degree angle. quite painful 4 our necks.







but finally when e match began, some tables at e front of e screen were cleared so we went there & grabbed 1. e problem was dat it is e 4th row from e front so e lower part of e screen was being blocked by heads. it felt like e same thing when u watched e pirated vcd shot in e cinema by some dude. haha! we ordered a jug of coke dat could serve 4 glasses 4 a price of S$4.50.



things got better after e tottenham vs. arsenal match. e people began 2 leave in numbers so we grabbed e 1st row VIP seats in front of e screen 2 get ready 4 e fulham vs. chelsea match. after a whole nite of watching, arjen robben of chelsea is my man of e match. dat guy is so damn good in dribbling & speed! he gets past defences like peanuts.





during e 2nd match, we got hungry & decided 2 order some food! we get ourselves e set of 3 spicy buffalo wings seved with tartar dressing (S$4.95) as well as a 6 inch pizza chicken bianca with shredded chicken, garlic, alferdo sauce & mozzarella cheese (S$5.95). both r great....i like e buffalo wings dipped in e tartar dressing, it just clicked well! e pizza? i just like anything filled with cheese! hehe!









we enjoyed every bit of e nite cheering with e crowd. it was just nice! good outing! football watching is a great hobby! haha! we left e place after e match & e cafe was closing down. we headed home 2 my hostel 4 a good nite sleep!
