FOOTBALL: INJURY WEEKEND





cisse & aimar were involved in some serious accidents. cisse had a broken leg & should b out whole season. he suffered double leg break as he fractured both his tibia & fibula. liverpool have confirmed dat sun morning's operation was a success & his shattered leg has been repaired with a pin being inserted.

liverpool confirmed dat the 23-year-old will remain in hospital for e next few days 2 recover but has no chance of playing again this season. i watched liverpool's champions league match against depor in anfield last few weeks ago & i seriously think kewell is in better form than him. so i think his absence should not b felt so seriously. some more he is in a pretty bad form 4 not scoring enuf goals.

aimar injury was not as serious as e replay had shown. it looked serious when his head was kicked.

'Aimar will undergo further tests during e week to monitor his condition,' Valencia said on their website. 'He is out of e match against Inter Milan.'

'He suffered a complete loss of consciousness, was unable 2 breath properly 4 a short while & remembers nothing about e match,' club doctor Jorge Candel told Radio Marca.

hope everything will b fine 4 him. he is a fine world class player.

newcastle finally lose their unbeaten run 2 bolton. i actually stayed up 2 watch on e bilbao-barca match. a nice flowing football game. interestingly, i slept just after both goals were scored shortly after another & e final result was dat. i watched e highlites & saw many great opportunities of adding goals 4 both sides.



raul celebrated his 10th anniversary at e club with another match scored by owen 4 real. owen started 2 claim dat becoz of beckham's injury, dat he is given a chance 2 play upfront by moving raul 2 midfield. which i hate!!! funny, when beckham is not playing, real is on a winning streak. hmmmm....i wonder.......

mutu may have a chance 2 b involved in football again when wenger showed interest 2 sign him after he served his ban. some light in a long dark tunnel 4 him. both adriano & shevchenko added 2 their goal tally but onli milan managed a small win while inter were held yet again. must b frustrating 4 them!

man utd were humbled, arsenal almost lost but drew level at e veli end of e game. convincing wins 4 chelsea & juventus. juventus? they r scarily winning comfortably of late! better beware europe! e defence could b e best in e world rite now!
