NBA ALL-STAR 2008: EAST 134-128 WEST

LeBron James was the difference as he picked up the All-Star MVP for the second time by helping the East to beat the West. He scored 27 points (12-for-22 shooting), handed out nine assists, grabbed eight rebounds, blocked two shots and made two steals in the whole game.

The main 5: Jason Kidd (2 points), Dwyane Wade (14 points), Chris Bosh (14 points), LeBron James (27 points), Dwight Howard (16 points) and the explosion of Ray Allen (28 points), Paul Pierce (10 points) and Richard Hamilton (9 points) helped the East to the victory.

Apart from the All-Star game, the other famous competition is the Slam Dunk. Dwight Howard is the 2008 Sprite Slam Dunk champion. His Superman costume could have caught more attention than anyone else. Still, his dunks were superb.
