SWEEP PANORAMA
Check out the sweep panorama from the Sony Cyber-shot DSC-HX5V/B. It has 10x optical zoom, built-in GPS and compass, how cool is that? I tried taking the sweep panorama by walking sideways but I cannot move too fast. Taking a panorama image by sitting on a revolving chair is much easier. In the past, you need to use a software to stitch multiple shots for a panorama. This camera does it with quite a good speed. Not bad at all, processing within a few seconds after a sweep panorama shot.
Here are two images of panoramic vertical and horizontal shots taken from the camera with me inside. There are still some distortions at some parts of the image. The resolution of these two images are taken at 4912 X 1080 pixels for the horizontal and 3424 X 1920 pixels for the vertical. I have edited them both to fit the maximum width of 400 pixels in the blog post.
