How Ashley Cole met Tweedy was an interesting story. Nobody knew this brunette until she was arrested in an alleged race attack. Tweedy, 21, was convicted of assault for punching a toilet attendant in the face, after the bog worker had the audacity to ask Cheryl to stump up her hard earned readies for the handful of the popular Chupa Chup lollies that she had just snatched. The feisty pop brat laid one on the attendant and was given 120 community service for her sins. Months later, England ace Cole fell for Tweedy's charms in a seedy London nightspot, and decided to overlook her lollipop shame and the criminal record it brought.



Tweedy is clearly a high maintenance babe, and Cole would be advised to make the move down to south London if only to keep his other half in jewellery and penny chews for the next year. Will he go to Chelsea for her sake? He will be earning alot more there. The Stamford Bridge payrise (well above inflation) would bring Cole's weekly wage up to £90,000 and mean Tweedy could pretty much buy out the entire lollipop selection from any trendy London disco-tech.



Cole celebrated his 24th birthday and the party was all set for a top night at London’s Tantra club as Cheryl had turned up wearing a huge smile and a sparkly ring on her engagement finger. Tweedy though couldn't keep it up and within 5 minutes of arriving she got in a fight with one of Cole's mates.



"One of Ash´s mates made a comment about Cheryl and she took it really badly. She started laying into Ash´s pal and that kicked off a massive argument. She´d only been at the party 5 minutes - they´d had a kiss and were holding hands. But things just turned nasty," said an onlooker.



Cheryl finished the night by running to her car in tears and leaving alone, as a relieved Cole partied the night away. I wonder how is their relationship now. Seems like a very hard to maintain girl indeed.



As for her band Girls Aloud, they were recently named in a poll as the best all-girl band ever ahead of the Spice Girls and Bananarama. Have you guys ever heard of their songs? Honestly, I have never and I saw their album cd in HMV last week.



Tweedy was reported to be very happy when she is with Cole.

She said: "I've never been this happy. The past year has been the best ever. I feel like I've got a fairy godmother watching over me."

"Ashley's my first proper boyfriend in two years, but I've never been in a relationship like this where I've been treated like a princess."



Meanwhile, Cheryl says she believes Girls Aloud are so popular due to their wide appeal.

She added: "We appeal to younger girls because we're fun loving and they can copy our dances."

She went on saying that she wants to marry her Arsenal footballer boyfriend Ashley Cole.

The Girls Aloud singer said: "We've spoken about marriage and are comfortable with it."

The couple have been dating since October last year if I am not mistaken. They met at a West End club after Girls Aloud had been presenters at the National TV Awards.
