FOOTBALL: THE EMPEROR IS BACK!



The Nerazzurri eliminated Porto in the quarter finals of the Champions League thanks to a 3-1 win at the Giuseppe Meazza stadium of Milan. What a great way to go through with the return of Adriano! A hattrick is the best way to show a comeback! After 3 months of poor performances and just one goal from the penalty spot, the Emperor scored all three Inter goals to help his side ease past Porto and reach the quarter finals of Europe’s top competition.

Thanks to this win, Inter are the eight and final team to qualify for the quarter finals of the Champions League. The Nerazzurri reach the two other Italian sides, Milan and Juve, as Italy can boast the highest number of representatives in this final stage of the competition. The other teams already qualified are Chelsea, Liverpool, Bayern Munich, PSV Eindhoven and Lyon. The draw for the next round will be held on Friday the 18th of March at noon CET.

Porto, surprise winners last season, become the first defending champions to fail to make it to the last eight in the subsequent season. Now, I think I already made up my mind to support Inter! Go Inter!!!

While in the EPL, Didier Drogba's goal extended Chelsea's lead at the top of the EPL to 11 points in a 1-0 victory over West Brom. Chelsea can look forward for the EPL crown just like Barcelona. They have so much gap in front that they can ease abit from the pressure of the chase of the crowns.
